Girl's Time Out (GTO)

Our Women's Ministry

The women's ministry at SouthGate is a vibrant group of women whose desire it is to see the power of God demonstrated through His people. Throughout the Biblical history, God has used women to reach and disciple thousands of people. It is no different here at SouthGate. God is using the women in this church to effectively minister to His people and the community through retreats, special services, social events, small group ministries, conferences, Bible studies, and inner city outreaches. We are convinced that God has placed a great responsibility on women to reach out and serve.

Event Follow-up

SouthGate's Women's Ministry sponsored a "Girls Time Out" event at the home of Tina Rose in Superior and it couldn't have been a more beautiful day! We had fun give-aways and trivia. Pastor Arnie brought a message titled "God's future Plan for You"...God wants us to get out of our comfort zone and throw our nets to the other side. See what God can do!

This was Pastor Arnie's final event after serving for over thirty years as SouthGate's Women's Pastor. Thank you Pastor Arnie for the invaluable contribution you have made to the spiritual well-being of the women of our church during that time!

The big news of the day came when Pastor Arnie announced that Jeri Lynn Cunningham would become the new leader of the women's ministry after the first of the year! AWESOME! We all prayed over her for this big step of faith.

The session concluded with a wonderful lunch sitting on the patio soaking in the sunshine and breeze of another day in God's presence. What an amazing day of meaningful ministry and rich fellowship! We were so blessed to have you with us!
